Erica Fernandes Biography – Family

Erica Fernandes is an Indian model, actress and youtuber. She is best known for her role as Dr Sonakshi Boss in Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi. Her full name is Erica Jennifer Fernandes. She has worked in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi films.

Erica Fernandes was born on May 7, 1993, in Mumbai. She attended Holy Cross High School and did her pre-degree from SIES College in Sion. She joined St Andrews College to pursue BA degree but discontinued to pursue in the modelling career.

Career

Erica chose modelling as her prime career over the studies. She said modelling was her childhood dream and that too her father was a former model, that’s why she stepped into modelling.

From 2010 Erica started participating in beauty contests. In 2011 she won Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face and Pantaloons Femina Miss Maharashtra pageants.

Her film career started with a Tamil film Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu where she played the lead role opposite to Bharath. In 2014 she made her debut into Kannada, Telugu and Hindi films. Erica starred with Puneet Rajkumar in Ninnindale. Erica appeared along with Aadi in Telugu movie Gaalipatam and She stepped into Bollywood with Babloo Happy Hai.

In 2016 she signed TV Serial Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi which aired on Sony TV. Erica Fernandes played the role of Sonakshi Boss a consulting nutritionist who falls in love with a business tycoon Dev Dixit.

The beautiful relationship between Erica and Shaheer made this show a benchmark for romance. This show was critically acclaimed and it became the huge hit. With this show, Erica Fernandes stardom has grown tremendously.

Erica won Asian Viewers Television Award and Best On-Screen Jodi Award for Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi.
Now Erica Fernandes is doing Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2 show.

Apart from movies, Erica runs a youtube channel with her name where she posts videos about makeup tutorials and fashion videos. She owns a jewellery store on Instagram, where she provides jewellery pieces designed by herself.
