Patrick Wilson is an American actor and singer. He is best known as screaming King for his roles as a demonologist in the horror films “The Conjuring”, “Insidious” and “Annabelle Comes Home”.
Wilson’s birth name is Patrick Joseph Wilson, He was born on 3 July 1976 in Norfolk, Virginia. When Patrick was a child his family moved to St. Petersburg city in Florida where he attended Shorecrest Preparatory School.
He was very keen on Acting and singing from his childhood. He developed his interest in acting as a natural instinct. He joined BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) at Carnegie Mellon University and graduated in 1995.
After graduation, Wilson started appearing in theatre musicals such as “Miss Saigon”, “Carousel”, “Bright Lights Big City”. In 2000 Wilson was nominated for Tony Award and Drama Desk award for outstanding acting in the musical “The Full Monty”.
In 2003 Patrick made his entry into the television with HBO drama series “Angels in America”. Wilson performance was critically acclaimed and he earned the nomination of Golden Globe Award and Primetime Emmy Awards.
In 2004 Wilson made an entry into the silver screen with the film “The Alamo”. Before this he did another film “My Sister’s Wedding”, but it was not released.
In 2010 Wilson played the villain role in the film “The A-Team”. Later on, he appeared in the horror film series “Insidious” and “The Conjuring”. Wilson portrayed as paranormal investigator Ed warren role in “The Conjuring” series alongside Vera Farmiga.
In 2014 Wilson again nominated for his performance in the television series “Fargo”. In 2018 Patrick portrayed as Supervillain, Orm Marius (Ocean Master) role in the famous superhero film “Aqua Man”.
Besides acting Patrick sing songs and give performances in stadiums.
